Description

Definitely the most challenging classic bright summer target for me.
The declination is so low that I have to shoot from the roof of my garage, which brings forth quite some struggles in terms of setup.
Even the 4m extra elevation only give me around 2 hours per night before trees, roofs etc. block the view again. Street lamps are also shining in full force as I have no way to block them up there.

Then comes the atmospheric dispersion that causes fringes in brighter stars. Even worse, my OTA's focuser seems to be slightly off-center which causes the dispersion to become a lot worse when stacking data before and after the meridian flip. I threw away quite some data and re-took the subs to make sure all where taken past the MF.In the end, I arrived at almost 3 hours of data. Enough for me, I'll focus on northern hemisphere targets again.
